Fill it in!

1.  My absolute favorite movie of all time is      "Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei". It's a german movie, don't know if it's available in english. I love the idealism that the people in the movie have   .

2.  My favorite movie as a child was      "Mary Poppins". My best friend and me watched it over and over again. We always tried to fly with our umbrellas.

3.  The best movie quote ever is       "I will make him an offer he can't refuse" from the Godfather. No just kidding. I can't come up with something other   .

4.  My favorite actress is         Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz.      My favorite actor is       Jude Law and Stipe Erceg     .

5.  The movie I could watch over and over is     "Papa ante Portas" with Loriot. Love it. It's too funny   .

6.  My favorite movie genre is      I love french movies and movies that are sociocritical. I also like action movies and Thrillers   .

7.  A movie I'd like to watch this weekend is      "Precious".  In germany it's still in the cinemas, but unfortunately this weekend will be way to busy to watch it    .

Revolution?!

Your life is relevant.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour,
wherewith shall it be salted?
It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out,
and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick;
and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Photo Tagging Game

Rosemary from "Steadfast Ahoy" tagged me in this little game.
The rules are easy. I have to post the 8th picture that is in my picture folder and tell the story behind.
Coincidentally I wanted to post this one anyway.

These are my friends Simon and Beccy. They had their wedding on Saturday and it was just beautiful! Sadly I didn't had the chance to take a lot of pictures, in the service I hadn't got a good view on the happy couple and later I forgot to take pictures.
But I really loved the wedding. The weather was great, it was warm and sunny and they had such a great service, the programme was nice and the food delicious.
I wish them all the best and God's blessing for their future!

Fill in the blank Sunday

A little late, but I just loved the questions!

1.  One song that always takes me back to my youth is     Buffalo Soldier. Me and my friends loved Bob Marley and the whole reggea culture. Our biggest wish was that he'd be still alive   .

2.  My first concert ever was    I don't remember the first one, but the first one where I went alone was "Wir sind Helden". It was great .

3.  If I could create my dream music festival I'd want these bands to be there:      Simon & Garfunkel, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Bob Marley, The Bangles, Ton Steine Scherben, Led Zeppelin,  Aretha Franklin, Pink Floyd, Buena Vista Social Club, the Cranberries, The Temptations, Eric Clapton, Diana Ross, The Hives, The Strokes, The Stone Roses, Jonny Cash, The La's, The Pixies...    .

4.  The best make-out/"boot knocking" song ever is      hum, that's a tough one. Never made out with music in the background. For a make out scene in a movie i would pick "the Pixies - Hey". It's not very romantic acutally but kind of laid back    .

5.  The best concert I've ever been to was     Clueso in Basel. My friends gave me the ticket for my birthday. I think it was one of the best gifts i ever got    .

6.  A memorable musical moment for me was        hearing my dad playing and listen to his CDs with him. I grew up with a lot of Jazz, Funk, Acoustic Guitar music and oldies Rock. I think he took me to concerts when I couldn't even walk yet :)    .

7.  The song on my iPod that's getting the most play these days is      "Wedding day Blues" from the 5th Dimension    .

Two things I love... around my home

A little bit of spring in my room.

My bookshelves.

With sunshine monday is not that bad.

Fill in the blank Friday!

1.  The first thing I do in the morning is     switch of my alarm clock and set it again (it hasn't a snooze button) and I while I get up I pray to Jesus, that he'll bless the day and thank him that I can sleep in at the weekend   .

2.  Every night before bed  I    put bodylotion and labello on and set my alarm clock  .

3.  My favorite thing to do when I'm having a bad day is      different things... I like distracting myself than, hang out with good friends, watch TV Shows or take a shower. I don't know why but after a hot shower I always feel better.

4.  Something that makes me cringe is     when people don't put off the engine of their car when they get out their car to pick something up or when the railway crossing gate is closed. It makes me sick   .

5.  Social situations    annoy me   .

6.  I like to collect      books and dvds. But books are my favorite. I wish to have my own library sometime. A room that has nothing else than bookshelves filled with books in it. What a nice imagination   .

7.  Weekends are for      taking photos, doing sports, partying, relaxing, doing nothing, spending time with friends and family, going to curch, cleaning up and most importatn: eating breakfast   .

Highlight of the day #3

Es sind die kleinen Dinge im Leben,
die glücklich machen...

wie zum Beispiel Gurke essen
(die erste Gurke die ich dieses Jahr hatte, die nicht nach Gummi schmeckte)

und dabei dieses Lied hören:

Spring, welcome to our home.

I love Postcards.

They make me happy. We have a cute little shop in our village, called "Dies und Das" (This and that) where you can buy expensive decoration stuff and lovely postcards...

Birthday Card for my Cousin, who celebrated his 9th birthday last week.

I love this Vintage Car. This one I bought for myself.

Wedding Card for my friends, they'll have their wedding next month.
It's beautiful, isn't it?

What I love even more than buying postcards is receiving them... so if you ever feel like sending a postcard to someone, ask for my adress. I promise to write back to you.

Yesterday I watched "The Passion of the Christ" for the first time and I cried through almost the whole movie. I think the movie is great because you really can see what Jesus did for us, but also I think it's sad that we need to see things like that to really apprehend how he suffered. You know what I mean? Did you see "The Passion of the Christ"? What do you think about it?

Thank you for the cross.

This video touches me everytime I see it. It tells perfectly, what Easter is about.
