What's better than spending a day with friends in the sun?

My weekend

Friday Night: My friend Carla and me made a little tour through our lovely city Lörrach. We drank Caipirinha at the Chestercafé and Martinis at the Cubanito.

We went to stop by at the "old Fabric" where our friend Stefan hosted a spontanous party.

We had a lot of fun dancing.

 

Saturday Night I spent again with Carla. Lucky we got into a concert for free. 

We didn't liked it that much but it was fun though.

Later we bought lemonade and chips and went for a walk through the city. 

On Sunday I went to church with my parents and after that we ate pizza with some friends. In the afternoon me and my dad went swimming (1 k!) and went to see Christoph Fuhrbach, a professional cyclist who established a new world record in Grenzach-Wyhlen. He drove his bike up and down a hill for 24 hours and covered a distance of over 21.000 m alitude difference. Impressing, isn't it? He collected a lot of money for a charity project in Peru. A little bit of America in Germany

Six weeks ago my dad and me went on a vacation to the US. I had a little trouble finding "perfect" gifts for my friends, and so I just brought a little bit of America back with me and threw them a graduation barbecue...

The rules are easy. I have to post the 8th picture that is in my picture folder and tell the story behind.
Coincidentally I wanted to post this one anyway.

These are my friends Simon and Beccy. They had their wedding on Saturday and it was just beautiful! Sadly I didn't had the chance to take a lot of pictures, in the service I hadn't got a good view on the happy couple and later I forgot to take pictures. 
But I really loved the wedding. The weather was great, it was warm and sunny and they had such a great service, the programme was nice and the food delicious. 
I wish them all the best and God's blessing for their future!

Friday!

I just love Fridays! One thing I love about them is reading Lauren's "fill in the blank". And today I'm taking part in it...

1.  When I'm nervous I     am shivering. And babbling on and on about complete useless topics   .

2.  My favorite item in my closet is     my brand new bath robe. It's purple and incredibly soft. I love it! Too sad I can't wear it in school .

3.       Drinking a cup of tea, eating conrflakes and watching tv series like Gilmore Girls, two and a half men or one tree hill        is my favorite thing to do when I need to relax.

4.  My favorite childhood memory is      Playing all day long with my best friend Simone with my dollhouse. We were so fanciful and creative... we were crafting food for the dolls and clothes. It was always so much fun. 

5.  Something you may not know about me is     that I secretly dream of being a cheerleader   .

6.  A true friend       share their lives with you and take part in yours.  They encourage you to realize your dreams and they are brave enough to tell you when you're walking in the wrong direction. And you can trust them that they'll have your back no matter what   .

7.  Something I hope people think of when they think of me is     that I would be someone they love to be friends with. And I hope they'll see Jesus in me :).

New Layout

Meine Freundin und Inspirationsquelle Larissa hat mich auf die Idee gebracht, meinen Blog ein wenig zu individualisieren... tja und so sieht er nun aus. Dafür, dass ich eigentlich kein besonders ausgeprägtes künstlerisches Talent besitze, finde ich, ist er mir ganz gut gelungen, oder was meint ihr? 
Wenn ihr rechts ein bisschen runterscrollt könnt ihr auch einen neuen Button entdecken, der euch zu Lindsays blog führt. Sie hat ein Projekt gestartet indem es darum geht, mehr darauf zu achten sich gesund zu ernähren und sich ausreichend zu bewegen, nicht weil wir alle Supermodels mit Gesundheitstick werden sollen, sondern aus Selbstliebe. Ich finde, das ist eine sehr schöne Idee. 


Da ich ja gerade in einer relativ kreativen Phase stecke, mache ich mich jetzt daran eine Geburtstagskarte für meinen Lieblingsbruder zu basteln, er wird morgen 24... Das Ergebnis (falls ich nicht irgendwann frustriert aufgebe) zeige ich euch dann morgen. 

Montag!

Eigentlich mag ich Montage nicht. Und dieser hier hat bisher auch nicht gut angefangen, ich bin mit Bauchkrämpfen aufgewacht. Liege gerade mit einer Wärmflasche im Bett und warte darauf, dass es besser wird und ich zur Schule gehen kann.
Montage haben aber auch ihr Gutes. Es ist wie ein kleiner Neuanfang, und ich liebe es Montags Listen zu schreiben und Pläne zu schmieden mit Aktivitäten und Ideen für die bevorstehende Woche und mir zu überlegen, worauf ich mich freuen kann. Oft freue ich mich nur aufs Wochenende aber diese Woche gibt es einige kleine schöne Dinge die in mir Vorfreude wecken.
Heute habe ich Kleingruppe, immer eine tolle Zeit mit zwei lieben Freundinnen und Jesus.
Morgen kommen die Filme, die ich beim Fotografen für meine Diana F+ bestellt habe.
Mittwoch ist You(th).
Donnerstag machen wir eine kleine Party bei meiner Freundin Larissa, da wir keine großen Fastnachtsfreunde sind. 
Und Freitag hat mein Bruder Geburtstag. 
Und Samstag und Sonntag sind sowieso immer Tage auf die ich mich freue.

Auf Wiedersehen 2009!

2009, es war nicht meine Entscheidung, aber morgen ist der Tag, an dem du von uns gehen wirst. 


Für mich warst du ein ziemlich aufwühlendes Jahr. Es sind viele Sachen passiert, die schwer zu verstehen und schwer zu ertragen waren, aber es gab auch viele positive Veränderungen und Geschehnisse.
Ich hoffe jedoch, dass 2010 ein etwas weniger nervenaufreibendes Jahr wird.
Ich habe mir heute morgen überlegt, was mein Highlight in 2009 war, und ich würde sagen, es gab nicht DAS Ereignis, sondern viele kleine Dinge, die wirklich schön waren.
Ich möchte nicht alles hier festhalten, aber eine Sache war, dass ich in der Gemeinde der offenen Tür ein neues Zuhause gefunden habe. Ich fühle mich dort wirklich am richtigen Platz und das ist wirklich etwas sehr, sehr Kostbares. 
Also, falls ihr gerade eine Gemeinde sucht oder generell überhaupt mal wissen wollt, was eine Gemeinde ist - die OT ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. 
Ein weiteres "Highlight" war, dass ich immer wieder merken durfte, dass ich wirklich tolle Freunde habe, die immer für mich da waren und da sind. Das ist ein echt gutes Gefühl! Ich liebe sie wirklich von Herzen.
