What's better than spending a day with friends in the sun?

And once again...

... fill in the blanks!

1.   What I love most about my home is       my bed. our balcony. the view on the river rhine   .

2.  I'm excited because,    it's only three more weeks of school and then I'm done. Like forever  .

3.  My preferred method for blowing  off steam when I'm frustrated is     go running or sleep   .

4.  Currently I am craving   an apple  .

5.  The thing I love most about my mom is     that she's always there for me and that she cares for me. When I am sick she makes me tea and brings it to my bed. When I am sad she's comforting me. I also love it that we can talk about everything     .

6.  If I was going to write a book about my life, the title would be        I don't know. Maybe "life's a shuffled playlist" .

7.  If I were to eat one thing for the rest of eternity it would be        vegetables. I guess.

Last but not least:

Mama, I love you! You're my hero!

My favorite season of the year...

... is spring! Every year I'm filled with awe about the outburst of the life everywhere. It's like God wakes up the nature from a long winter sleep. For me spring is the embodiment of revival.
I love to watch trees becoming greener day by day and the rich flowerage everywhere. I love to enjoy the first shafts of sunlight and the thrill of things like having the first barbecue of the year. I hope you enjoy this magical time of the year without suffering any allergies!

Beautiful Winter Day

A little late but: Merry Christmas!
I hope you all had a great time and received a lot of presents!
I had a lot of fun with friends and family.
And for the first time I experienced white Christmas, which was beautiful!

Winter Wonderland

Yesterday I was buying Christmas gifts together with my dad.
After that we went eating at "Fünfschilling" in Fischingen and when we got out the restaurant the sky looked like this. Beautiful, isn't it?

Hello. I'm back!

Hey everyone. I am still alive.
I am sorry for vanishing into thin air for so long. There's no other reason for my lack of blogging than my lack of inspiration. And a huge lack of time.

So... what's new?

First: I am 20 years old now! (Pretty old, don't you think?)

--> This was the invitation to my Party. It was a very small party, just my brother and my closest friends. We spent a really nice evening, eating, laughing and having good converstation.

Second: I've made a trip to Oxford in September with my Dad. I stayed there before, but I just fell in Love with this beautiful city all over again.

Third: I sent applications for University to England last week...  I am really excited. I applied for PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics). And now I wait, pray and study. Sometimes I feel like the homework just don't come to an end. So please excuse my just sporadical blogging.

Trip to Berlin!

I love little trips to big cities! Especially to Berlin! It's definitly one of my favorite towns! You have everything there: A lot of different cultures and international food, a lot of Art and Street art, Music and the most exciting night life. If you're a friend of electro music like I am, Berlin is like the paradise on earth!

Trip to the US Part I : New York Day 2

On our second day in New York we experienced a little of New Yorks manifoldness.
In the morning we took the subway to Chinatown where we strolled through the streets, shoot many, many pictures and went to Starbucks. I know, that's not really "chinatownish", but we found out that you can drink a lot of bad coffee in the U.S. (no offense but we like strong coffee) and so Starbucks became sort of "the café of our trust".
We also walked through the Streets of Little Italy and Soho where we stopped at a lovely little Restaurant called "Soho Garden".
Then we took a subway to Brooklyn where my dad and me went to a bass shop and my dad tested some "Sabowsky-" (or something like that) Basses.
Then we walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. So beautiful!
On the other side we saw some street dancers who danced to Micheal Jackson Music. Really cool. We saw the Ground Zero and walked through Wall Street.
A day full of contrasts!
