My weekend

Friday Night: My friend Carla and me made a little tour through our lovely city Lörrach. We drank Caipirinha at the Chestercafé and Martinis at the Cubanito.
We went to stop by at the "old Fabric" where our friend Stefan hosted a spontanous party.
We had a lot of fun dancing.

Saturday Night I spent again with Carla. Lucky we got into a concert for free.
We didn't liked it that much but it was fun though.
Later we bought lemonade and chips and went for a walk through the city.

On Sunday I went to church with my parents and after that we ate pizza with some friends. In the afternoon me and my dad went swimming (1 k!) and went to see Christoph Fuhrbach, a professional cyclist who established a new world record in Grenzach-Wyhlen. He drove his bike up and down a hill for 24 hours and covered a distance of over 21.000 m alitude difference. Impressing, isn't it? He collected a lot of money for a charity project in Peru. Randomness

From today it's exactly two months, than I'm turning 20! Time runs... don't you think?
And there are only 4 more days of school... than summerbreak! Yay!

Today I heard a really funny joke, ok I found it funny, don't know what you guys think:

"Hey, you have a banana in your ear!"
"I can't hear you, I have a banana in my ear."

This made me laugh.
I'm sorry but that's all I can come up with today.
I hope you all have a great day!

"Ich hatte mir nämlich die Vorstellung in den Kopf gesetzt
und kriege sie nicht wieder raus -, dass das College auch nur so ein
blöder, geistloser Ort auf der Welt ist,
der die Aufgabe hat, einen Schatz auf Erden anzuhäufen.
Also Schatz ist doch Schatz, Himmel nochmal.

30 day fitness challenge

Brandi from mucho mucho bueno bueno (I love her blog! Check it out!) started this little challenge. I think it's great.
It's basically about working out every day for the next 30 days. When I first heard this I thougt I couldn't do it, because I'm too busy. So I decided to start slow. For now I just try to ride my bike instead of taking the car. Since it's so nice outside it's just lovely to bycicle. And for today I planned to go swimming.
I think now is the perfect time to start. If I can't do it now, how lazy will I be in winter?

Dans la forêt

The last weeks we had very hot weather and today I thougt it would be perfect to just walk into the forrest, where it is chilly and cool, the air is fresh, you hear nothing but the birds singing and the crackle of the wood under your feet. Laying down on the bog, seeing the crown of the trees above you, maybe reading a book or just enjoying the algid silence.
That would be perfect, wouldn't it?

A little bit of America in Germany

Six weeks ago my dad and me went on a vacation to the US. I had a little trouble finding "perfect" gifts for my friends, and so I just brought a little bit of America back with me and threw them a graduation barbecue...

"The Tussle was worth the hussle!"

I love my friends! They are so great!

I'm back

I am sorry, I didn't write anything the last three weeks.
I was totally in the end-of-semester-stress. I had tons of exams, and the time I didn't study I spent outside, because we had about 110 degrees and since I don't have a lot of trouble with my allergies anymore I just enjoyed the summer. Other than anyone else, I love it, when it's hot.
In summer I just feel so alive. I don't know why, but I'm just happy all the time, and all the things I normally hate aren't that worse anymore (like getting up at 6:00 every morning).
Everyone wears dresses, and skirts and colourful clothes. I love that.
I hope I can move to Florida someday, where the weather is hot much longer than here.

I have a few announcements:

1. Germany won the bronze medal in the soccer worldcup. I got to admit, that I was very, very sad (I almost cried) when we lost against Spain in the semifinals, but third place is still pretty good, isn't it?

2. Only two and a half weeks until summer holidays. What a lovely, lovely thought.

3. Did you check out this giveaway? Just great, there won't be just one winner, there are 20 prices that can be won! How cool's that?
