Weekend Love

First an announcement: It's my brothers birthday! Happy Birthday Martin! I love you! :)

Second: It's exact 30 days until my finals. Last week we had "simulated finals" which was very exhausting. But I am happy they are over for now and this weekend I do not have to study that much. The next weeks will be loaded with revising and reading for my finals, so if I won't blog so regulary you know why.

I bought the cutest, most inspiring book the other day. I just read the first two chapters but I am already thrilled about this book:

Hitherto the new fb profile didn't quite persuade me. But Color Me Katie inspired me to experiment a little with the photo section at the top. What I did so far ist not really creative but until I come up with something better, i think it's not that bad.

I think there's nothing greater than people who commit their talents and gifts to God, like the creators of this video did. It's such a blessing, and although I watched it many times it touches my heart again and again.

Today...

...I drove my bike to school. (Because it's good for the environment and it's healthy).
While I was doing that I listened to Pink Floyd and all the time I felt like you feel when you are really looking forward to something, full of joyous anticipation. I kept thinking: "To what am I looking forward to?"
And then I realised, that I'm not happy because there's something great in the future, but that I was fully enjoying the moment and being happy because of the present. And even though this moment wasn't very special or extraordinary I was so glad, just to be in this world, to live, to breath and to know all this is a present of God - for me.
