life lately

this morning i did my laundry for the first time in the new house and hung it up outside - i just have to watch out for lancaster's unpredictable weather now...

started doing soul survivors "bible in one year" reading plan again -
see here for more information.

until thursday my brother was still here with me, longer than actually planned -
due to the breakdown of our car but we had a very lovely time together.
we hang out at starbucks...

...or at the fireplace in his hotel

and visited ashton memorial and other places.

yesterday i made pumpkin soup - which was delicious
and today my roommate and i gave our house a thorough cleanup - very productive weekend so far!

even though i already catched a cold (the english weather, i tell you) i am very happy to be back.
hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Back in the UK!

I just realised that I haven't posted something on here in over a month... Life has been very busy these last couple of weeks - I enjoyed the last summer days with my friends, celebrated my birthday, went to Italy and moved houses! I am back in England now, not living in halls anymore but in a lovely little house with three other girls.
Lectures started again and so far I am really enjoying to be back in Lancaster. My brother is still here this week, which is very nice.
I will try to upload some pictures the next days or weeks from summer and to be a bit more present around here.
Happy Tuesday!
